After the deadline for the submission of the nominees forms, only two applications were received, one for the office of the President/Chairman-in-Council and the other was for the office of Vice-President/Vice–Chairman-in-Council.

The President/Chairman-in-Council nominee form was for Professor Charles Uwadia, FNCS and the Vice-President/Vice–Chairman-in-Council was for Mr. Kole Jagun, FNCS.

The Committee subsequently screened the two applications and found them qualified to contest for the two elective positions as specified in the 2019 Electoral Guidelines.
