The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has held its year 2021 International Conference. The hybrid event with the theme ‘Innovative Systems for Digital Economy’ which held between Tuesday 3rd – Thursday 5th  August 2021, in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, provided opportunity for governments, businesses, Academia and the technical community, and civil society to canvass and brainstorm on the development of the country’s information technology industry.

In his Goodwill Message at the event, the President/Chairman of Council, Mr. Kole Jagun congratulated the President, NEC and members of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) on this occasion of the Conference and AGM of the Society. Mr Jagun said the Conference had created a niche for itself as a gathering of Information Technology professionals and practitioners in Nigeria and Diaspora with the objective of discussing and strategizing on emergent issues in Information Technology in order to come out with recommendations and decisions that will impart positively on the industry and the nation. He said it is heartwarming to note that, over the years, this Conference have served as a forum for raising awareness, initiating discussions, identifying ways by which Information Technology innovation can help our nation in attaining and sustaining her development.
