The President and Chairman of Council, Mr. Kole Jagun, FNCS, on Monday 24^th February, 2025, inaugurated the 2025 CPN Election Committee. During the brief ceremony, Mr. Jagun thanked  members of the Electoral Committee for their passion, and for accepting to serve the IT Profession in this capacity. He informed the Committee that the CPN Electoral Guidelines approved by members of the profession at the 30^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) spells out the rules guiding the conduct of the election. Mr. Jagun expressed confidence that the Committee would deliver on the task before it.

In his response, the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Mohammed Musa Abubakar, FNCS,  thanked the Council for the confidence reposed in them. He promised that the Committee would give its very best at ensuring the successful midwifing of the electoral process leading to the election of a new President/Chairman of Council, and Vice - President/Vice-Chairman of Council for CPN. Dr Abubakar assured the Chairman of Council that the Committee would deliver a free, fair and credible election.
